Ingredients:
- 2 cups murmura (puffed rice)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, finely chopped (seeds removed)
- 1 small cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 small carrot, grated or finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 tbsp boiled sprouted moong (adds protein)
- 1 tbsp roasted peanuts or chana (optional for crunch/protein)
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp chaat masala or black salt (optional)
- Pinch of turmeric (optional)
- Few drops of mustard oil (optional for smoky flavor)
Instructions:
- Dry roast the murmura on a low flame for 2–3 minutes to make them crisp, if not already crunchy.
- In a large bowl, mix murmura, chopped veggies, sprouts, and peanuts.
- Add salt, lemon juice, chaat masala, and turmeric (if using).
- Toss everything well. Add coriander leaves.
- Serve immediately to keep it crunchy.
